A stock will be given dividend/" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{"attribute":"data-cmtooltip", "format":"html"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>ex-dividend status if a person has been confirmed by the company to receive the dividend payment. The person who owns the security on the dividend-date/" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{"attribute":"data-cmtooltip", "format":"html"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>ex-dividend date is awarded the payment, regardless of who currently holds the stock.
